Our beginnings

At the present time

In 1967, this inn, so unique and buried at the beginning of the fertile lowland of Morata de Tajuña, was opened. The heads of the first project were Mr. Julian Gonzalez and Mrs. Paula Pilar Atance. At that time, this inn was an irrigated land in the road of Valdelaguna. Then, it was taking shape the project of the current inn called “El Cid”. They started, as we used to say in the villages, with a dance party every weekend. A huge amount of groups played in the stage which was installed and which is missing nowadays. After this, the inn was inaugurated. Later on, the swimming pool was added and finally, the pergola completed it all. Moreover, it is important to point out that each service was named “El Cid”. We can see some examples in: “El Cid inn”, “El Cid swimming pool”, “El Cid pergola”, El Cid holiday cottage” placed in Maranchon, and finally, “El Cid ethnographic museum”

How to arrive:

If we take the main road of Valencia, we will arrive at the “Arganda’s bridge”. Then, we can branch off until Chinchon. In the kilometre number 11, we will find the intersection of San Martin de la Vega. We turn to the right and we go on in the same direction. After a few metres, we will find the intersection of Chinchon. In this moment, we should turn to the right and continue straight ahead. Then, we will arrive at Morata de Tajuña where we are placed in the Carmen Street number 36.
